What documents are we supposed to carry with us for successful entry to us via port of entry?

In addition to the documents above, I suggest that you carry the SEVIS fee payment receipt as well. They usually do not ask for it but its good to be prepared. If you don’t have a copy of your SEVIS fee payment receipt, you can get it here

I arrived at US about a week ago and the immigration officer did not ask me much. He looked at my passport and I-20 and asked how much cash I was carrying with me and that was it. But its always good to have everything with you, you might never know what happens.

  • Letter of Acceptance
  • No Objection Letter from Nepal Government (Avaiable from Keshar Library)

Along with the above ones, it is good to carry some of the below documents too (if you have them; it is not necessary but safe to have in case something comes up):

  1. Bank Statement
  2. Relationship Certificate
  3. And documents you used to get the US Visa.

I remember carrying those 2 years back, please wait to get the updated information in case few things have changed recently.
